8th Grade Dance Planning Meeting on January 28, 2026

We’re starting to plan a fun evening for our 8th grade students, and we’d love your help! Join us tomorrow evening for our dance planning meeting. 7:00 at CMS.

Dear 8th Grade Families:

We are excited to begin planning our 8th Grade Promotion Dance and wanted to share some important updates with you! This special event is a fun and meaningful way for our students to celebrate the end of their middle school journey and all they’ve accomplished as they prepare for their next chapter.

Important Dance Details

• Date: Friday, May 22
• Time: 6:30–9:00 PM
• Location: CMS

Get Involved – Join the Dance Committee
As we move into the planning phase, we would love support from parents and guardians who are interested in helping organize the dance. We are forming an 8th Grade Promotion Dance Committee to assist with:

• Food
• Decorations
• Fundraising
• Event coordination

Even a small amount of help makes a big difference—and it’s a great way to be involved in this milestone celebration for our students.

Donation Information
To help make this a truly memorable evening, the dance committee kindly asks 8th-grade families to consider a flat contribution of $40 per student.

• 100% of all donations go directly toward food, entertainment, and decorations
• Families who are able to contribute more on behalf of others are deeply appreciated

Volunteers Needed
We are also in need of parent volunteers to help with:

• Setup before the dance
• Supervision during the event
• Cleanup afterward

Please note: this dance is planned and run entirely by parent volunteers, not CMS staff, so your support is essential. Whether you can help a little or a lot, we would love to have you join us!
